Event

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by OCERT (Oman National CERT), in collaboration with Diyar United Company, launched the Digital Trust symposium to showcase THEQA, Oman’s national electronic certification and digital identity framework.
The symposium presented THEQA as a secure platform that enables digital identity verification, electronic signatures, and digital sealing, supporting safer electronic transactions across government and private sectors. Officials highlighted its role as a strategic national infrastructure aligned with international cybersecurity standards and a key enabler of Oman’s digital transformation.
Diyar United Company, the implementing technology partner, emphasized its commitment to supporting national digital initiatives through the delivery of an integrated digital trust ecosystem that improves service efficiency and accelerates digital adoption.
Live demonstrations of the THEQA mobile application and digital sealing services were presented, alongside practical use cases aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency. Participants underscored the importance of expanding adoption of THEQA across sectors.
THEQA enables citizens and residents to securely complete digital transactions without physical presence, while giving organizations a certified framework for electronic signatures and seals in line with Oman’s Electronic Transactions Law 39/2025. The initiative supports Oman Vision 2040 and the transition toward secure and efficient digital services.
